Hot Air Ballooning: A beautiful way to start the day! Departs daily from Cairns. Bus transfers are included. A very early start at 4.10am pick up from your
accommodation, then a 1 hour drive to Mareeba. Balloon flights are for 30 minutes or 60 minutes. Up to 16 passengers will ride. Ages from 6 years old is ok. Fly over the flat Tablelands where you can see many native Australian animals like kangaroos. You'll see the sunrise from the balloon in the winter months or on the drive up in summer months. You will be back no later than 10.30am. Express transfers are available and return about 9am.
Horse Riding: Departs daily morning or afternoon. Guided 2 or 3 hour rides are available. Adventure through beautiful World Heritage listed tropical rainforest and creeks. You will need long pants and covered shoes.
Fishing and Crabbing: Half day estuary tours are the most popular. Morning and afternoon departures. Eat what you catch. Fish can be cut up sashimi style with wasabi. Eat freshly caught Mud Crabs. The best way to eat seafood!
Reef Fishing: is full day and also available. Light winds are needed for Reef Fishing.
Zoo: Cairns has several zoo's or animal parks. Usually you can catch a local bus to visit different choices. We can give you 10% off discount vouchers to visit these places. A half day is recommended.
