Get an adrenaline rush while experiencing the tropical paradise of Cairns.
Skydive 14,000 feet: Our most popular tour. It does not matter if your 16 or 100 years old. It
takes 2 to 3 hours to complete.
The tour departs every hour from 7am until 4pm. Pick up from your accommodation and then a brief training. Ten minutes drive to the Cairns airport then 20 minutes in the plane to reach 14,000 feet.
You can see the Cairns city and see the beautiful islands. 60 seconds is the freefall. You will feel like you are flying!
You can add a Handy Cam DVD option. This is where the Tandem Master on you back is filming the entire skydive. Or Solo DVD is where another instructor is jumping out at the same time filming the 60 second freefall. He will land first and the film the approach and landing.
The parachute will open and you can enjoy 5 minutes in the sky before you have a soft landing. This time you can take off the goggles and have some control of the steering of the chute.
You will land in a flat green field where the bus is waiting to take you for a 20 minute drive back to the city. Wow! Everyone is very scared before they book. But once you have tried it you will know how safe and easy it is.
If it is raining or too windy Dr. Tours will refund all your money.
Full day skydiving is in Mission Beach. It departs Cairns at 7am and will return at 5 pm or 6 pm or even as late as 7pm. You can land on a long beautiful beach. You can get a free Skydive T-Shirt if you have a YHA Card.
Tiger Moth: The greatest adrenaline rush. Try the 25 minute flight with aerobatics; shorter or longer flights are available. Accommodation pick up is included. Take your camera as there are great views and it's great fun. You sit in the front of the aircraft, you feel like you’re the pilot! Feel the wind on your face as you will be treated to some amazing manoeuvres. You have an intercom so you can talk to the pilot if you think you have had too much. You won’t be disappointed!
AJ Hacket Bungy: Wicked When Wet! Weather won’t affect your Bungy Jump. From a 50 meter 
tower you jump above a lake amongst the beautiful rainforest. You can feel the ground rush at you as you fall. It’s is a very exciting tour! You can change into the many costumes they have available. Ask for a water touch. This is where you can fall and touch the water. It departs daily from your accommodation at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. It will take about 2 hours to complete. The drive to the site takes 20 minutes each way by the Bungy Bus. Take off any jewellery and empty your pockets.
Rafting: Full and half day options are available. Bus transfers are included and lunch on the full
day tour. You can see beautiful rainforest and at the same time enjoy an exciting ride down the river! Rafts can take up to 7 customers with 1 guide. Sports Rafting can take 2 customers. Tully River departs daily at 6.30am and returns at 6.30pm. Russell Rivers departs daily at 9am and returns at 5.30pm. Barron River Departs daily at 2pm and returns at 5.30pm.
You will need lace up shoes or sandals with a back strap on them. They will get wet! Hire is available. Also take swimwear, a towel and a change of clothes. Take off any jewellery and empty your pockets.
